Creative toys are a great way to keep your kids occupied for hours. They’re engaging and inspiring to little minds, and can be a great {educational!} companion to imaginative play. Some affliate links included.
Creative Toys
With four small kids, we’ve been through a LOT of toys. But these ones have stood head and shoulders above the rest. Here are just a few of our favorites…
Building
We love LEGOs. They always captivate our little builders, and with awesome new sets like these–LEGO DUPLO Creative Play, LEGO Juniors, and (the coolest) LEGO Fusion–they can take their play even further.
If you prefer wood and recycled toys, these CitiBlocs are awesome. But for a whole new magnetic twist, your kids will LOVE Tegu Toys. I can’t say enough good things about these sets–from our 5-1/2-year-old all the way down to our 1-year-old, they are always a huge hit.
Another innovative alternative to traditional blocks, Fisher Price Trio sets come in many quantities and designs to captivate every little engineer.
This is a great list. My kids have loved the wooden blocks, the Legos are still all over the house, the kinetic sand was fun for awhile, and they are really into the Snap Circuits. Can’t go wrong with any of those gifts!
