Remember that post about all the messes? We do a lot of cleanup here. It’s basically the glue that ties us together (Wait what? Glue? I need more cleaning supplies…).
I’ve lost count of how many loads of laundry I’ve done today alone. Sheets, because children. Clothes, because we own next to nothing (by choice, but still), and again–children. Towels, because always towels. I don’t even know how we go through towels so fast, but we do.
Okay, so one of those sheets loads was my bad–chocolate in bed. I’M SORRY. Mommy has needs. Not ashamed.
I actually felt almost normal today (re: actual sleep), basically cause I passed out when the kids went to bed last night and accidentally got nearly 12 hours. *gasp* Hubby says the kids were up several times; I have no recollection of this. Apparently he is superdad–I’m okay with that.
But as a result, I felt like I could do all the things today. Floors got vacuumed, surfaces got scrubbed, [multiple loads of] laundry got done. On top of solving problems for design clients, as always–it was epic.
We’ve always tried to minimize our footprint with as many kids we have and as much STUFF as we go through–using cloth diapers, taking some epic saving measures, etc. And we always buy the most eco-friendly stuff we can that’s affordable. But it always seems like they compromize on something… And it doesn’t get the job DONE (Which I kinda need, with 5 kids).
Since we’re all about the savings, let me tell you, Tide Purclean and Target have this covered, too. They’ve not only got the epic neckhanger savings of $1 per bottle of Tide Purclean, but also the Cartwheel (Target) app savings of 5% on top of that. Even if you’re not an extreme couponer (*cough* like I used to be *cough*), that’s some good stuff right there.
So basically, if you’re like us and want so desperately to be environmentally-friendly but don’t have the time to compensate for effectiveness, Tide Purclean is your jam. Okay I don’t mean literal jam. Cause that would mean more cleaning. But you get me.
